Mindful Photography and Meditation Retreat
“And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.” ― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince
This Mindful Photography and Meditation Retreat is for you, regardless of your present mindfulness, meditation, and photography experience. It will be a time to escape, learn, play, be curious, laugh, and meet like-minded people, all to reinforce or develop the skills for coping with the potential daily stresses.
Key elements of this Mindful Photography & Meditation Retreat:
Mindful Photography – Randy Bullerwell
Being fully present in the moment, slowing down to use all your senses, and observing, without judgment, to notice details and beauty in simplicity.
The practice emphasizes the intentional experience of photography over the final outcome, using the camera as a tool to enhance awareness rather than seeking perfection or a technically perfect shot.
Mindful Photography allows you to take some time out and begin to nurture awareness in yourself and your surroundings.
Embrace the process of seeing and experiencing, recognizing that the conscious experience is more important than the final photograph.
Engage in the process by focusing on subjects or styles that bring you joy and make photography a pleasure, not a chore.
** Please note, while there will be times set aside for technical guidance, this is not a technical workshop.
